02 / SCRIPT BREAKDOWN / ILLUSTRATIVE SPEC STUDY
Script breakdown
An illustrative hook-to-payoff script architecture. This is a proposed framework, not a measured client result.
Annotated script & edit timeline
PLACEHOLDER / Add the original script, annotated rewrite, and before-and-after edit.
01 / Earn the first seconds
Start with a specific tension your audience recognises. Name the problem, offer a credible reason to keep watching, and avoid a generic brand introduction before the viewer understands the value.
02 / Make every beat do a job
Map the script into hook, context, demonstration, payoff, and next step. Mark what each line proves and which visual carries it. Remove repetition rather than speeding up an unfocused argument.
03 / Edit around meaning
Use cuts, graphics, and sound to clarify the argument. Review drop-off points against the actual script before assuming that more effects will improve retention. Test the rewrite against comparable content.
EVIDENCE TO ADD / Original script, time-coded annotations, proposed 3D cuts, and retention comparison.
